Advanced Technology, Inc., a Greensboro, North Carolina company, was founded in 1979. They distribute unusual high pressure laminates and metal laminates from Europe. ATI has amassed the largest selection of metal laminates available in the United States. Additionally, ATI manufactures and distributes decorative (mirror-like, metallic, wood grain, granites, etc.) thermo plastic sheeting similar in size and thickness to high pressure laminates under the trade name MirroFlex™. ATI also manufacturers MirroFlex™ structures for walls, displays, ceilings, backsplashes and more.

All of ATI's products have been used in a wide range of applications including commercial and residential interiors, store fixtures, automotive trim, metallic surfaces for signage (both interior and exterior) and display. Many are suitable for vacuum forming and silk screening. And they have engravables too. NuMetal™ features aluminum, copper or stainless steel clad high pressure laminates in polished and brushed finishes and various embossed surfaces in a wide assortment of designs and color combinations. NuMetal™ fabricates like standard high pressure laminates and most have phenolic backing. Special features like hand painting, acid etching and distressing are also used.
